Paint. Drink. Learn. Hello, and welcome to our new business Facebook page! Our names are Dan and Chelsea Rose, and our business is named ‘Painted Kanvas’ as a play on words for our state - ‘Kansas’! We offer our participants the ability to enjoy a few hours of fun in the evening while they enjoy local wines (and more), a little music, a little learning, lots of friends, and a lot of fun! We invite students of all ages and abilities to explore our unique art sessions and workshops in an open and supportive environment where you can unleash your creative side. The best part is, you get to take your new personalized artwork home with you! We have hired talented local artists to create one-of-a-kind paintings that you, as a participant, will re-create in a group setting, brushstroke by brushstroke. You don’t need any prior experience in painting, either! Our artists will step the participants through the process, using their expertise to guide each one in the skill of canvas painting. Through our classes, workshops, and studio space, we provide simple directions each participant can understand, bringing your painting passion to life! We have a full-service bar, and can accommodate most anything you could possibly need to make your event a success. Your party can be one, two, even sixty people, depending on what kind of event you want to have. If there is a specific painting you would like to do on a given night far enough into the future, let us know, and we can make it happen! You can register online or over the phone via credit card or PayPal, or come visit us in person with your payment. We require a one-person deposit to hold your spot(s), and the rest of your party can pay the night of the event. Bachelorette and birthday parties, team building events, date nights, corporate events, holiday parties, fundraisers, and anything in between! We offer catered events (date night idea, guys…) and can even come to you for sorority parties or the like with our mobile studio! In the future, we will offer special events such as wine bottle painting, kids’ camps, specialized holiday and sporting event activities, and much, much more! Regardless the event, we bring the paints, brushes, aprons, and the artist - you bring the people and the fun! Not all our events are private parties - participants are more than welcome to book the entire evening for an event (a bachelorette party, for instance), and their party will have exclusive access to the studio! If evenings are not already booked for private parties, anyone can book their seats for that night’s painting - weeks, days, or even hours before. We can even offer the studio for daytime events, as well. Our studio is ADA-accessible, inside and out! Let us know if you or anyone in your party have any special needs, and we’ll be sure to have everything in place when you arrive. We are located in the Wakarusa Marketplace at Bob Billings Parkway & Wakarusa Drive, in beautiful West Lawrence in Kansas. We’re hoping for a grand opening in early February 2014, holding events Tuesday through Saturday nights! You can fill it out (type directly into the form and save or print/handwrite), and email it back to us.
