100+ years of fun all year long at this 180 acre summer camp, conference center, and outdoor education, serving Buffalo Grove and the surrounding area. Guided by Jewish values and culture, the JCYS provides educational and recreational programs for Chicagoland's children and, through board service, develops the next generation of Jewish civic leaders. JCYS Camp Henry Horner serves Chicagoland’s Jewish and greater communities by providing children and adults of all abilities outstanding activities and instruction led by a diverse, qualified staff. Our programs embrace Jewish values and culture; promoting fun, experiential learning, and creativity. The camp experience is designed to support our campers’ success in traditional summer camp activities as well as personal growth, independence, and self-confidence. JCYS Camp Henry Horner is home to a day camp, overnight camp, disability camp, teams and adventure course, and conference center. We have 180 beautiful, wooded acres on the shores of Wooster lake.
