Pirate Circus Kid Camp - 1200 Shakespeare, Ste. C

June 15-19, 9:00am-4:00pm, $200/kiddo Hosted by Missoula Fencing Association and Moksha Studio. For kids ages 7-10 years old who wanna be a Pirate AND join the Circus. Monday - Friday 9am-12:30pm: PIRATE (hosted by Missoula Fencing Association) Monday - Friday 12:30pm- 4:00pm: CIRCUS (hosted by Moksha Aerial Studio) PIRATE: Come express your inner pirate! We get our youngest fencers started learning fencing basics with lots of fun and games in this week long camp. Time will also be spent in activities that increase fitness, coordination and strategy development. All protective equipment is provided and we finish out the week with some stage combat. CIRCUS: Kids will have a blast learning skills. Acro Flying (Acro Stunting basics), Flow Arts (Juggling, Ninja Staff, Poi, Hoop), Aerial Arts (Sling, Silks, Static Trapeze, Rope Climbing), Slack-line: (Low Tightrope), and other activities such as jump ropes, ball games, parachute fun, and more! Instructors guide students through activities while simultaneously helping them actualize their goals and understand the connection between their body and mind. This camp promotes physical activity, focus, practice, patience, and FUN! Circus Arts celebrate individual exploration, community based learning, and expression through movement.
