Houston Teen Biz Camp (Fall Session)

The Teen Biz Camp is a 8 week total immersion small business after-school program for teens ages 12-18. The camp has 3 phases and concludes with a Pitch Day for cash prizes and a Graduation. The Kickoff & Orientation is Saturday, October 5th from 2 pm-4 pm and Wednesday, October 9th from 6 pm-7:30 pm. Please attend kick-off to enroll! During the orientation, we will explain how the entire program works and parents will sign permission forms to officially enroll teens and get started. The Benefits By the end of the program, teens have their own small business kit including: 1. The Entrepreneur’s Workbook 2. Website/Shopping Cart 3. Business Card & Logo 4. Network of Business Owners and Support 5. Certificate of Completion 6. Up to $5000 Scholarship to attend Media-Tech Institute or Houston Community College AND 2n1 Laptop/Tablet (upon successful completion)!!!!!!! Actual Camp Dates: October 14th -Nov 25th Mondays from 6 pm- 8 pm at HCC Southeast Campus Every other Saturday 11am - 1 pm There is a cost to participate, but we have payment plans, sponsorships, and fundraising opportunities for those who need financial assistance. The Teen Biz Camp is our signature program and is a 4-8 week total immersion small business camp, which concurrently runs in multiple cities in Texas 3 times per year (Fall, Spring, & Summer).
