You’re invited to join Musical Empowerment in celebration of our newest campus chapter at NCCU! Our family-friendly kick-off party will feature live music, food, and the opportunity to learn about youth music mentorship opportunities. Date: Tuesday, September 17th Time: 6 PM - 8 PM Location: ReCity Network, 112 Broadway St, Suite B, Durham, NC 27701 In Partnership With: BUMP the Triangle is a grass-roots 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Durham. BUMP empowers youth through music of the African Diaspora, together building a tool-kit of music, culture and resilience in culturally responsive community. BUMP serves over 700 Pre-K through 8th grade youth annually through Griot Summer Camps, BUMP Out mobile workshops and Ubuntu Music Academy.
