Celebrate summer’s end with a “Camp Out” at the Nature Museum! Join us on September 6 for an evening under the stars—complete with s’mores, animal encounters, nature-inspired crafts, and more. Families are invited to join us for a Camp Out Sleepunder from 6-8pm, then children 7 to 11 years old and their chaperones can keep the evening’s fun going by staying overnight in the Camp Out Sleepover. Please note, there is a 1:3 chaperone to child ratio for this event. Children must be accompanied by a chaperone. Camp Out Sleepunder Friday, September 6, 6-8pm The whole family can share a fun evening together with s’mores around the campfire, animal encounters, crafts, and more! Have a blast playing and connecting with family and friends while exploring the Nature Museum after-hours! Children of all ages are invited to join us for this evening event. Cost: $10/camper or sibling, $15/chaperone Includes evening programming and camp-inspired snacks. Does not include sleepover. Camp Out Sleepover Friday, September 6 (6pm) - Saturday, September 7 (9am) When the sleepunder ends, the sleepover begins! Chaperones and children age 7+ can spend the night at the Museum! Sleep over in select exhibits and spaces—or pitch a tent and sleep on our second-floor, outdoor terrace. In the morning, enjoy a continental breakfast! Cost: $40/attendee (children & chaperone) Includes the evening sleepunder programming, plus a museum sleepover and continental breakfast. Space is limited. You are welcome to borrow tents from the Museum for the evening or bring your own. Please note, tents are first come, first reserved. Tent use is weather and space-dependent.
