Summer is just getting started and there is so much fun ahead! We're taking Saturday Storytime outside for fun activities and great stories with six amazing authors!Check back here for more details about all the fun activities we have scheduled. Toni Buzzeo is the author of Caldecott Honor Book winner One Cool Friend. She has released a brand new picture book, When Sue Found Sue. The book tells the incredible true story of paleontologist Sue Hendrickson and the famous T. rex skeleton she unearthed.Sara Levine is an author, educator, and veterinarian. Her latest nonfiction children's book, Flower Talk: How Plants Use Color to Communicate features a talking cactus who reveals to readers the significance of different colors of flowers in terms of which pollinators different colors "talk" to. Gina Perry brings back beloved characters Moe and Peanut in her newest release, Now? Not Yet! On a camping trip together, Peanut wants to swim now while Moe wants to do other things. This happy book shows children how to overcome differences with friends.  Melissa Stewart and Sarah Brennen are the author and illustrator of Seashells: More Than a Home, a beautiful nonfiction picture book highlighting the versatility of shells. Readers will discover 13 seashells through elegant watercolor illustrations and informative text. Sarah Grace Tuttle has just released Spot, Spike, Spiral a board book that introduces and displayed in living things by featuring nine spotted, spiked, or spiraled creatures. Readers will enjoy discovering beetles, lizards, frogs, and other surprising beauties of the natural world.
