Spanish Summer Camp 2019 "LA GRANJA" K-5th GRADE

What about a week long summer spent surrounded by nature, learning and practicing Spanish, doing all kinds of outdoor activities? A week long themed Spanish immersion summer camp with a holistic approach where each day is a whole new adventure! The goal of this program is to provide experiences for children to practice and boost their Spanish language skills. For our beginners students the goal is to teach them the basics of the Spanish language. Throughout the day we will alternate indoor/outdoor activities as follows: -Spanish class -Gardening -Global sustainability -Art & crafts through nature -Healthy diet -pony rides -Music, dance & movement and a lot more!   SCHEDULE ​9:00 am – 4:00 pm Extended Hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Spaces are limited, reserve your spot now! WHO: Children K-5th Grade “Los Granjeros”   WHAT DO “LOS GRANJEROS” NEED TO BRING: -Snack, lunch and water every day. -Apply sunblock every morning before coming (we will holding indoor and outdoor activities). -Bring a hat or cap to use when we go outside. -Dress comfortably and ready to explore the farm. Wear socks & closed toe shoes. (no flip flops.)  LENGTH: 1 Week from 07/29 to 08/02 2019 STAFF: Our teachers are native Spanish speakers, hold degrees in the educational field, have wide experience working with children and are background checked.
