Teen Circus Summer Camp - Lawrence, KS

Come One Come all to The Last Carnival's 2018 Summer Camps! We are so excited to announce our collaboration this summer with Phoenix Ranch in Lawrence Kansas to be able to bring all you cirque lovers summer camps this year! Our summer camps are training intensives for those of you interested in aerial acrobatics, flexibility, partner acrobatics, prop manipulation and fire performance skills, act development, and much more. Each weekend will end in a student showcase, so bring you favorite circus wear. Healthy meals with be provided throughout the event from The Restorative Chef. At the end of the weekend you will have the option to purchase some circus props and costuming of your own to bring home and keep your training going. Here is our weekends planned schedule: Friday July 13th 4pm -Check in & set up camps 5pm - watch kids summer camps student showcase 6pm - dinner 7pm- 7:30 pm indoor introduction improv games 7:30-9 pm prop manipulation props (staff, diabolo, poi, juggling, flower sticks, etc) Saturday July 14th 9 am - breakfast 10-11:30 am vertical apparatuses mixed level (aerial silks and rope) 11:30 am- 1 pm trapeze and aerial slings 1-2 pm lunch 2-3 pm partner stretch 3- 4:30 pm partner acrobatics 4:30 -6 pm ninja dance 6 pm dinner 7pm-9pm bonfire Sunday July 15th 9 am - breakfast 10- 11:30 am lyra a.k.a aerial hoop 11:30- 1pm act development 1-2 lunch 2-3 chill time, showcase prep 3--4 pm flexibility for any body 4-5pm student showcase 5-6pm pack up camps and say goodbyes Early bird special Feb 1- May 1 $450 (5 tickets available at this price) May 2- July 1st $550 (5 tickets available at this price) After July 1st $650 These prices includes 9 circus skills workshops with The Last Carnival instructors, camping space at Phoenix Ranch, and 6 meals and snacks throughout the weekend with The Restorative Chef.
