YMCA Youth 8 Under Basketball League and Camp - Gadsden, AL

General Information: The YMCA of the Coosa Valley will offer a new 8U Basketball league this upcoming winter. The league is open to the public. Both Y members and non members of the YMCA are allowed to register. Registration Information: Registration will begin Tuesday, November 1st and will end December 2nd. The cost to participate will be $55.00 for members and $65.00 for non-members. Season Dates: January 13th - March 3rd. (Eight Games + Camp) - All games will be played at the newly renovated YMCA of the Coosa Valley in Gadsden, Alabama. About the Program: The YMCA of the Coosa Valley youth sports programs promote healthy kids, families and communities by placing a priority on family involvement, healthy competition, the value of participation over winning and team building. Parents are encouraged to be more than mere spectators by contributing their time as volunteer coaches and team parents as well as being their kid’s number one fan. The program will feature the new “Homework Basketball” Curriculum and a Camp will be conducted on Dec 9th.
