Kid's Yoga Camp w/ Julie Pellerin-Herrera Session 1: July 24, 25, 27 & 28 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 10:30-11:45 am* For girls & boys aged 6-10 Kids will have fun developing self-awareness, strength, balance, and flexibility. They will learn how to center their minds through focused breathing exercises and explore their imagination through fun games and visualizations. Kids’ Yoga provides children a safe and exciting way to physical health, emotional stability, and positive self-expression. Pre-registration required by July 19th. Students may bring a water bottle. *Depending on response, an afternoon session may be added to accommodate more children. About the Instructor: Julie Pellerin-Herrera, Julie PellerinEd. S.: (Yoga) Julie has been practicing yoga for over 15 years. She became a Kripalu Certified Yoga Teacher in 2003 and a Certified Yoga Ed. Teacher in 2007. Julie also has been a dedicated educator since 2001, teaching literacy and academics to children in various school settings. She attributes her yoga practice to her intention and ability to “stay peaceful and present amidst life’s storms”. On a daily basis, yoga reminds her to live breath by breath, moment by moment, and day by day all the while remaining connected to her higher purpose of educating and empowering youth.
