Kid's Yoga Summer Camp - LaPorte, IN

We are honored to host this workshop with teacher Sue Beres! Sue has been an educator of children in grades k-12 for over thirty years who is passionate about combining the social, emotional, and cognitive domains to foster positive mental health. With degrees and certifications in elementary education, special education, educational leadership, Laughter Yoga, and most recently, a YogaKids Apprentice Teacher, she is excited to share her vast and varied skill set teaching Yoga to children, pre-teens, and young adults. Her work for the last eight years with Girls on the Run, fostering character development in young girls through physical activity, also supports her mission. Sue has run many half-marathons, marathons and 5ks. She now stays active practicing yoga, exercising, hiking the dunes, walking, spending time with her husband and traveling. Sue is an Educational Diagnostician wit LaPorte Community School Corporation and lives in LP with her husband who teaches and coaches at LPHS. Their favorite places to be are in Southwest Florida or visiting their daughter who lives in Madrid, Spain.
