Special Teen Art Camp for Grieving Children ages 13 to 18 - Melbourne, FL

North Star Program for Grieving Children, a free service of Hospice of St. Francis, will be hosting a Special Teen Art Camp for students ages 13 to 18. The camp will offer teens an uplifting week, during which they will learn to make fused glass art as a means of expressing feelings associated with their loss. Peer support, personal journaling and education about the grief process will also be a part of the daily activities. The Teen Art Camp will be lead by professional grief counselors, Christy Taylor, MSW, and Hilary Farnum, MSW, along with professional glass artist Sky McDouagh. The art camp is offered free of charge to teens in Brevard County. Space is very limited.
