El Campo Kid Fish - El Campo, TX

3rd Annual KIDFISH will be held Saturday, Feb. 18th from 9 a.m. to noon at the Legacy Fields Pond for children under age 17. Registration will be held on-site. Rods and reels will be provided for those who don't have their own. Bait, stringers and plastic bags for the fish will be provided. Children under age 17 do not need a fishing license. TPWD inland fisheries staff, Game Wardens and Biologists will be among the volunteers on-site, along with members of the Coastal Conservation Association. TPWD and the City of El Campo will have the pond stocked with a variety of fish including: catfish, sunfish and largemouth bass.
