Suwannee Spirit Kids Music Camp - Live Oak, FL

Register here: http://www.suwanneespirit.org/register-1.html The Suwannee Spirit Kids Music Camp gets underway Friday, January 27 at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) and runs through Sunday, January 29. Events include sign up with a cookout and special workshops Friday evening, lessons Saturday and Sunday and a concert Sunday afternoon. Instruments will be provided for students who don’t have one. This unique, free camp teaches kids hands-on appreciation and understanding of instruments like fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, ukulele, harmonica and drums. Held three times each year with all volunteer staff and teachers. Cabins and upgraded camping sites are available by calling 386-364-1683 Mission Statement It is the mission of SSKMC (Suwannee Music Kids Music Camp) to provide positive, life-enhancing experiences for all participants in our programs and for members of the surrounding community, including those less fortunate. SSKMC strives to offer a stimulating, fun-filled environment which fosters personal growth in music and friendship through challenging educational activities. We provide a simple place for enrichment, retreat and renewal in peaceful natural surroundings.
