Kid's Beginner Sewing & Art Camp with Sandy Gillespie! - Melbourne, FL

KID'S BEGINNER SEWING ART CAMP June 15 - 17 @10am - 2pm Ages: 12-16 This is not just an ordinary "learn to sew" camp. Our students will design and create their own fabric using surface design techniques. They will learn how to use a sewing machine and also, basic sewing skills. With their new found skills they will sew a super cool backpack and pillowcase. Lots of paint, screens and unique personal designs will abound. The students will have fun experimenting with stamps, screens and printmaking to create their fabric art! We encourage our students to be Fearless and unique!!! All supplies included. Taught by Sandy Gillespie: Fiber Artist, Baker and Crafter We have sewing machines, but it's best for your child to learn on their own machine if you have one...otherwise, no worries!
