Summer Day Retreat

Take a day to participate in camp and team-building activities with the Winnetka Youth Organization at YMCA Camp Duncan! Benefits to adding this day retreat include:  Exploring the outdoors with fun team building activities Experiencing adventurous challenge courses  Developing social and leadership skills RETREAT INCLUDES: Breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Roundtrip transportation from the Winnetka Youth Organization (620 Lincoln Ave, Winnetka, IL 60093) to YMCA Camp Duncan (2405 N. US Highway 12, Ingleside, IL 60041). A range of team-building experiences and activities: rope group games, wilderness survival, boating, exploring cultures and ecology, and high ropes.  Free WYO T-Shirt  REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Our registration will open on Evenbrite on Monday, July 8th, please come back to the website to register. Deadline to register is Thursday, July 25th.  PRICING: Early Bird (7/8 - 7/21): $55 Regular Pricing (7/22 - 7/23): $65 Late Registration Fee (7/24 - 7/25): $75 FAQs Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? 9th-12th grades only, regardless of residency.  What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Roundtrip transportation from the Winnetka Youth Organization (WYO) to YMCA Camp Duncan and back to the Winnetka Youth Organization is provided by the WYO as part of the event. What time do I arrive at the WYO to leave for  YMCA CampDunkin, and what time should I expect to be back at WYO? Everyone must be at the WYO (located at 620 Lincoln Ave, Winnetka, IL 60093) at 7 AM. Our program at YMCA Camp Dunkin is scheduled to start at 9 AM. We end our program at 5 PM and will arrive back to the WYO between 7:30 PM - 8 PM. What can I bring into the event? Reusable water bottle Sunscreen Small towel Flip flops and gym shoes + socks Clothing:(2) pairs of atheletic clothes that are easy to move in and compatiable with the weather. (1) Bathing suit for boating activity. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? You do not need to bring your printed ticket to the event. Instead, after registering, you will recieve an email package. The package contains a permission slip, waivers from YMCA Camp Dunkin and a form pertaining to dietary restrictions. You need to read and fill out the package, and have it turned in by dropping it off at the Winnetka Youth Organization or emailed to Christina Gikas, Executive Director at [email protected]. Am I able to pay with check to avoid credit card fees? You are able to pay by check to Winnetka Youth Organization. Please drop off all checks at the Winnetka Youth Organization (620 Lincoln Ave, Winnetka, IL 60093). What's the refund policy? There are no refunds for this event. Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? The registration fee and ticket is not transferrable. How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
