NM Youth Summer Intensive- Building Capacity in Neighborhoods

Youth from 15-30 years old will study intensively Books 1 and 3 or 5 from the Ruhi sequence of courses, hike, create art, roast marshmallows, etc. This intensive study is intended to prepare youth for service in either assisting with neighborhood children's classes or the Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program. The program will include the practice components of each book, as well as outreach efforts to families in nearby neighborhoods. The intention is that each youth will have active service opportunities directly following the camp, and will be accompanied by more experienced community members.
