Thank you so much for expressing interest in earning Professional Growth Points with our brewery! Learning keeps us going, keeps us challenged, keeps us on track in our daily work. In order for us to make great day-to-day decisions, we must understand our craft and be willing to #ShareOurCraft with others! This has kicked off a movement, and we're so happy (and excited!) to invite you into our taproom to learn a little about beer, and get some PGP's too! This year, our Summer Beer Camp will be a one day adventure, open only to Indiana educators, where you'll dive into tasting and sensory techniques, the brewing process, beer history and its relationship to the American craft beer movement and a little about our own entrepreneurial garage startup story. We are currently awaiting guidance from the IDOE on what will exactly be required of our Beer Camp Curriculum to ensure that you walk away with approved PGP's. Once that guidance is provided, we will pass along the info to you. Also, please know that HEA 1002 does not increase your renewal requirement --- HEA 1002 states that 15 of your currently required 90 points that you have to obtain over five years must include information or experiences that give you a better sense of what job opportunities exist for your students. We hope that our 2019 Summer Beer Camp will help you fulfill these fifteen hours in a fun, relaxed environment where you'll drink beer, learn about our startup story and how Indiana Craft Beer has had a huge economic impact on Indiana by creating jobs and revitalizing so many neighborhoods.
