Five Day Intensive College Application Boot Camp (Summer 2019)

This five-day boot camp is geared towards rising seniors looking to apply to college! We will cover the entire process of college application--from making your list of dream schools to submitting FAFSA--and everything in between. Preparing applications and essays this summer will save loads of time and stress once the school year starts back up--it's always best to start early! Students will get personalized instruction and help picking and applying to their colleges as well as specific help on application and scholarship essays from a trained Writing Tutor. The small classes will promote a community learning environment and allow students to interact with peers as learners, writers, and future college kids!  Participants should leave the class knowing the ins and outs of applying to college (likely having an application or two already submitted!), revised and workshopped drafts of at least one essay (that can be reused over and over!), and a well-crafted resume. Additionally, students will be given a list of credible scholarships and scholarship search resources, as well as great organization methods and tips and tricks for remaining sane throughout the process.  Class size is limited, so sign up quickly! SCHEDULE All classes will take place from 10 am to 12 pm, with the final 30 minutes reserved for parents to join for Q&A. This building is right off of I-30, easily accessible from the highway, and on the outskirts of Downtown Fort Worth.  PARKING There is free parking around the building as well as on the street meters. Street parking will also be free because it is the weekend. COST Individual classes cost $99 -- bundle and save! The entire series costs $299.
