Orlando, FL: One Generation Project: Leadership & Freedom Summer Camp

Our country's youth are under more pressure than ever to succumb to sentiments of political correctness, anti-Americanism, and attacks on our Constitution. Through lively discussions and interactive games, this summer camp teaches students about freedom's unique role in the world and prepares them to understand the issues of our day while communicating about them in a responsible and effective way.  During this lively week, your child will learn about:  Freedom is Vision: Exploration of the human condition before America, the Founding Fathers as visionaries, and what makes American exceptionalism endure. Freedom is Innovation: Learn how problems are solved not by big government mandates, but through the magic of spontaneous order, comparative advantage, and voluntary collaboration in this interactive team challenge. Freedom is Capitalism: Explore the myths and realities of socialism versus capitalism and how to talk about these truths with peers. Freedom is Trade: Learn how freedom of choice increases prosperity for all through this fun, interactive trading game. Freedom is Opportunity: Play a game to understand the effects big-government regulation can have on people’s daily lives as students try to accomplish life goals under the different conditions imposed upon them by government. Freedom is Responsibility: Learn the responsibilities of good citizenship and leadership so you can educate others about current issues. Freedom is You: Play a fun and competitive game that reviews the key takeaways from the course.  Camp Schedule:  Day 1: Leadership Session; Lunch  Day 2: Sessions 1 & 2: Freedom is Vision; Lunch, & Freedom is Innovation Day 3: Sessions 3 & 4: Freedom is Capitalism & Trade; Lunch, & Freedom is Opportunity Day 4: Session 5 OGP & PI Training: Freedom is Responsibility; Lunch, & Educational Opportunities Day 5: Session 6: Freedom is You Quiz.; Lunch, & The 60 Second Film Festival Day 6: Community Outreach Event for Educational Opportunity  Day 7: Social Media Best Practices; Lunch, & Social Media Workshop  By filling out this registration form, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are not 18 years of age, this form must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. No children under 14 years old are permitted.
