Summer Camp for Grown-Ups Kick Off!

Camp Wonderful’s 2019 Staff and Camp Directors, Jonah Spear (“Benefitz”) & Paige Carter (“Ginger Wednesday”), invite you to join the Camp Wonderful pop-up June 19, 6-9:30p, at Sous Vide Kitchen. WHEN: June 19, 6-9:30p WHERE: Sous Vide Kitchen, 119 E 23rd Street, New York, NY 10010 A Tech-Free Evening Take a rest from your screen! Check your phone at the door and give yourself a break from those emails, unread texts, and Instagram notifications. Our friends from Outsnapped will be there to capture all your selfies, boomerangs, and group photos - and send them straight to your phone to share with new and old friends after the event. Open (Espresso) Bar Ready to enjoy a booze-free, caffeine-optional-but-heavily-encouraged evening with us? PROOF Coffee will be onsite to serve up all the chai lattes, oat milk macchiatos, iced coffee, decaf tea, cortados, and other fancy, barista-created, works of art your heart desires. We’ll keep the coffee and the fun flowing all evening long. Food, food, food Sous Vide Kitchen is known for their diverse, delicious and nourishing menu. You can look forward to a selection of their best offerings, complete with options for all dietary commitments. Games! Directors Ginger and Benefitz will run a full hour of old and new favorites. Get to know your neighbors, engage with new friends, read minds, get high-fives. Prefer a little less action? We’ll have table games, puzzles, friendship bracelets, and arts & crafts for all levels of intro- and extroversion. Music! Enjoy a busking performance from our very own Artists in Residence for September 2019 - Pinc Louds. Close out the evening with a full-on dance party to the sweet sounds of Claudi Love’s Kalimba.
