Science, Technology, Engineering, Art , Mathematics, Music & Movement Session - 9:00am - 4:00pm est Early Drop-off: 8:30am Late Pickup: 4:30pm WEEK 1: June 3rd - June 7th - EPIC ENGINEERS & PHYSICS FUN: TRACK MAKERS & SPEED RACERS  It's time for some Hot Wheelin and Physics Fun! Are you faster than the speed of Lightning McQueen and his pixar friends and crew? Is there such a thing as a driverless car? What really makes a track fast? Is it that favorite Nascar driver in the lead? Be the first to design a funky, futuristic car or perhaps the fastest running shoe of all time. Campers will enjoy many high speed, quick thinking racing activities both physically and mentally. "On Your Mark...Get Ready, Get Set...Go!" WEEK 2: June 10th - June 14th - WHO DONE IT: DETECTIVES vs ForenSIC SCIENTISTS  Detectives on the scene to determine Who Done It! Trace evidence under a microscope to find out who's DNA is it anyway? Learn forensic techniques in solving unusual mysteries. But wait, that's not it...Let's attack the germs of this foren-"sic" camp and put an end to those tiny invisible intruders. We need the help of ForenSIC Scientists for this job! Let's work the case together, draw the yellow tape, find the missing pieces and solve the mystery.  WEEK 3: June 17th - June 21st- SPACE CHASERS! ROCKET RACERS! Part I 5-4-3-2-1...Now blast off into some galaxy fun! Be the first to design and launch your rocket high into the sky to explore beyond the earth and into our solar system planetarium. Explore the galaxy and shoot for the stars! Galaxy Building! Space Chasing! Rocket Racing! Now let's explore physics and Newton's Law as we blast off into space. Inventors challenges awaits you! Bring your creativity and ingenuity!   WEEK 4: June 24th - June 28th- ROBOTICS 101: ROBOT BRAINERS When you think of robots, does The Terminator or I, Robot come to mind? Do we give enough recognition for the robot that performs surgery and help save human lives or perhaps one that vacuums our dirty floor? Campers will learn about robotics and have a Robot-artist experience. Join the inventor's challenge and enter the camp invasion robotic battle zone.  WEEK 5: July 1st- July 5th (No class July 4th) -  SECRET EYE-SPY AGENT  I-DECLARE-WAR! Hide your identity and prepare for battle as this camp features special tactics needed to complete the mission that seems impossible. Your critical thinking skills and physical strength may be needed to survive the task. Remember to keep quiet as all information obtained is top secret. WEEK 6: July 8th - July 12th - THE CHEMIST EFFECT  Don't just think about it? Mix It...Test It...Watch It EXPLODE! Ever wonder what makes your soft drink FIZZLE, your pop corn POP or green slime so GOOEY? Do you know what chemicals is a part of our daily lives or what about the secrets behind the big-screen as we explore special EFFECTS, blood, stage-make-up and more? We are ready to bring out the mad scientist in you! Campers...grab your thinking caps, put on your lab coats and be prepared for this messy hands-on experimental camp!  WEEK 7: July 15th - July 19th -  SPACE CHASERS! ROCKET RACERS! Part II Space Chasers & Rocket Racers continues for some even more blast off galaxy fun! More fun Newton law projects and a trip out of space. Build bridges and understand centripetal force, kinetic and potential energy. Learn about force and motion as you create the most epic roller coaster! Build geodesic cities and market your ideas to the highest taker. This camp is for the active as it will surely get your heart racing and your feet off the ground. WEEK 9: July 29th - August 2nd - WHO DONE IT AGAIN: DETECTIVES vs ForenSIC SCIENTISTS - PART II The mystery continues...Detectives on the scene to determine Who Done It AGAIN Trace evidence under a microscope to find out who's DNA is it anyway? This camp is perfect for the video techies with a twist! Campers will be introduced to basic game designs, daily video game activities that relate to every day life & cash in their tokens to reveal secrets of the monetary system.
