10th Annual SAT/ACT Summer Camp: Lexington Location AM Session

The 10th Annual SAT/ACT Summer Camp is back!  After 10 years and thousands of student success stories, it's my hope that you will allow me the opportunity to educate you child this summer.  Yes, "educate" is the word I use because that's what I do: instead attempting to game the system, I will, instead, provide high quality instruction to your chiild that will result in her/him being a better English student, a better Math students, and a MUCH better test-taker.  Whether your child is a rising senior and the clock is ticking on college admissions or your child is perhaps younger and looking to get a start on SAT/ACT prep, the Summer Camp is a perfect fit in all cases. What is the SAT/ACT Summer Camp? The camp is an affordable SAT/ACT test prep option designed to fit the busy summer schedules of students and their families.  The camp covers all portions of the SAT/ACT tests; not only that, test-taking strategy in general is covered with great depth, so any students taking AP/IB exams will greatly benefit from the camp as well. Topics that will be covered: - Test content (i.e. what's on it) - Test-taking approach (i.e. HOW to take the tests) - Timing - Answering questions in a logical order (as opposed to answering them numerically) - Reading, Math, English Grammar/Style, and general thinking skills necessary for success (we will practice these thoroughly) - Preparation for the test: how to effectively use printed and web-based resources to prepare for the tests - Educating students on the score(s) they need for admission to a variety of colleges and universities, both in-state as well as out-of-state - Helping students strategize on how best to improve their score(s) (i.e. focusing on a particular subtest as opposed to working on the whole test) Questions?  E-mail me at [email protected] or call/text at (803) 403-5080.
