UMSL: PROJECT YCHAT NOW SESSION THREE JULY 2019 Registration

Calling all teens! Interested in getting involved in an awesome extracurricular activity this Summer? Consider joining UMSL's Project Y-ChatNow! This four day Summer Camp begins on July 10th at 9:00 am - 5:00 pm & continues July 15th from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Project Y-ChatNow is a new FREE substance use, HIV/AIDS, and hepatitis prevention program for minority youth ages 13 – 18 in St. Louis City and County. This program combines education and awareness workshops with social marketing campaigns to promote the spread of positive prevention messages in minority communities. WORKSHOPS Project Y-ChatNow participants engage in fun-filled educational prevention workshops utilizing evidence based curricula during the first half of the program. During the second portion, the youth team up to create unique social marketing campaigns (e.g., flyer, poster, PSA, social media posts, video) based on what they learn in order to help share facts, dispel myths, and bring about community awareness throughout St. Louis neighborhoods.
