Medina Premier Boys & Girls Soccer Camp 2019

The Medina High School Boys Soccer Program would like to invite you to our third premier player camp. If you are a serious soccer player that wants to understand how to prepare for a successful high school career this is the camp for you. It is designed to be affordable, challenging and fun. This camp is a major fundraiser for our programs. Our program is very successful and that is because of the support of the players and parents of this community.During our camp, your child will discuss the game of soccer in an analytical way. They will be asked questions by our coaches and be expected to solve soccer problems on the field during exercises. Soccer is a player’s game played by players. We will begin to empower you as a player with insight into how the game is played at the high school level so that you can be ready when the opportunity comes. Topics to be covered● Defensive shape and Zonal Pressure● Defending high up the field. Why and how?● Midfield third into the attacking third● Building from the back – how to play through pressure● Attacking with width.● Individual technique to play center midfield.● Counterattacking● Finishing in the attacking third● Offensive and Defensive shape in transition. Things to bring:● Be dressed to play every day…shin guards, water,and ball.● Camp will run Monday thru Friday from9am-12noon each day● All sessions will be at Claggett Practice Field
