NON PLUS ULTRA - San Francisco's own unique venue management firm, is excited to bring you our second annual carnival themed day that will be fun for all ages!  Hurry hurry! Step right up to our second annual FREE Kids Carnival! Join us in the historic Palace of Fine Arts atrium for bicycle carousels from Cyclecide, carnival games, glitter art, face painting from Cassandra Love Lambert, balloon twisters, DIY car paint station, live music from Sunny And The Black Pack, Royal Sun Shave Ice, Pretzelina, Açai bowls from Ruru Kitchen, plenty of cotton candy, popcorn, coffee, beer & wine and more for the youngest and oldest in the family. There will be interactive games and exhibits from Mircrosoft, Junior Chef Stars, Tree Frog Treks, SF Maritime National Park, SF Engineering Summer Camps, Volo City and more.  Interested in sharing your summer activities? Contact us and let us know, we'd love to have you join the activity mezzanine. 100% of the donations collected onsite will benefit Project Wreckless, a capacity development program targeting the most at-risk youth in San Francisco. Project Wreckless provides tools for life through an immersive curriculum centered on the restoration of classic cars. Come meet the Project Wreckless staff and youth and see their classic cars during the event.  Suggested donations of $10 - $20 per family. Strollers and wheelchairs welcome, please no bikes, skateboards, scooters or motorized vehicles indoors.  WHAT:  FREE Carnival rides and games for all ages WHERE:  The Palace of Fine Arts Event Venue, just inside the legendary lagoon and park. WHO:  Hosted by Non Plus Ultra and Project Wreckless WHEN:  Saturday, May 4th.   Doors open at 12pm   Frequent Asked Questions:   Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?  No unaccompanied minors, Eventbrite registration required.   What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? The Palace of Fine Arts has convenient access to public transportation, accessible by San Francisco Muni buses #30, #43, #28, #29, #22, #41, and #45.  For more information, call Muni at (415) 673-6864 or check the SFMTA trip planner. From BART, get off at Montgomery station, walk one half-block up Market Street to catch the #30 Stockton.  Downtown-bound Golden Gate Transit buses stop nearby. Call Golden Gate Transit Information at 511.   What can I bring into the event? No outside alcohol, food, coolers, picnics, glass bottles, weapons, wheeled toys (skateboards, scooters, etc.). No umbrellas, chairs, speakers or portable music amplifying devices. Strollers, wheel chairs, walkers and assistive devices are accepted and welcome. No smoking, electronic smoking devices, cigarettes or cigars. Trained service dogs and psychiatric service dogs are welcome, but not emotional support animals.  This event is not suited for your pets, thank you.
