Camps are pretty much the same but what set us apart is our commitment providing your student with appropriate academic supports. Students lose so much information when they are not academically challenged during the summer. That's 2 months!!! It takes them about 2 additional months to get readjusted to school in the new school year! Do your student a favor and REGISTER TODAY!! What age(s) are appropriate for Knowledge Camp? Knowledge Camp summer program is appropriate for school aged children ages 5-12. Your child(ren) must be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2019 and/or eligible for Kindergarten in the 2019-2020 school year if planning to attend the summer camp program. It is important that all participants register to ensure that our staff and certified teachers are properly prepared to accommodate the needs of each campers. What is the cost of Knowledge Camp and are field trips included? $60 Registration Fee- for new campers/students each calendar year Registered Weekly Rate- $180 per week, this includes MOST field trips (If an additional cost is associated with a field trip the cost will be no more than $10 and will occur only once per week) Drop In and daily rates are not available at Knowledge Camp Summer Camp 2019 session Discounts Knowledge Camp is offering 10% discount for sibling groups of 2 or more. Will my child need to bring additional clothing? Extra clothing items are not required; however, it a great idea! It’s important to our staff that campers are dressed appropriately and are comfortable throughout the day. There are times during STEAM/STEM and other activities (indoor/outdoor) that students may get their clothes wet or messy. Parents please take note of WATER DAYS. Knowledge Camp provides an opportunity for school aged students to master material from their current grade and begin laying the foundation for material that will be covered in the next grade! Talk about a CONFIDENCE BOOSTER! By the way...We offer DAILY field trips!!! (We realize that it's summer and kids want to have a great time. Our design allows flexibility to provide the appropriate supports ACADEMICALLY while students have LOTS of FUN!We hope to provide a safe and nurturing environment with lots of FUN this SUMMER!!
