Spanish Summer Camp 2019 "VIAJE ALREDEDOR DEL MUNDO"

The goal of this intensive 2 month program is to provide an accelerated Spanish learning course which focuses on conversation/ verbal communication with cultural relevant experiences. It is a unique "traveling" classroom experience around different Hispanic countries where children will embark on a memorable cultural adventure while learning/practicing the Spanish language. Children will explore and learn about geography, society and arts. During the summer we will hold intensive course #1 (June) and #2 (July). Each course is 4 weeks long. , We “virtually” travel to a different country each week. The activities included in the program are: Spanish class; story time; “el mercado” where children buy and sell with currency from each country (colored copies); play and explore with our original collection of handmade original toys & souvenirs; geography activities including landmarks, natural wonders, kind of weather, country’s gastronomy through cooking activities, folk dances and rhythms, music and songs, kinds of animals and their habitats, Zumba kids in Spanish, art and highlights from famous Hispanic artists, etc. WHO CAN JOIN – LEVELS: Children will be divided into groups depending on their age and Spanish level as follows: BEGINNERS: No Spanish knowledge required to join the program. INTERMEDIATE: For students who have been attending any of the All Kids Spanish regular program options or who attend a bilingual school, foreign language school, dual language school or who come from a Spanish speaking family; this is a great option to learn more and practice their Spanish skills. ADVANCED: “Heritage Speakers”: This is the group where children who speak Spanish will be placed. The goal for this group is to provide opportunities to practice the Spanish language as well as teach students to read and write in the Spanish language. Students can join at any time during the summer (courses) SCHEDULE:  8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Extended Hours included 8:00 am – 5:30 pm. with no additional fee If you are interest in half day, please call us for information.  AGES: K-5th Grade. LENGTH: Each course is 1 month long (4 weeks). We have a total of 2 courses during the summer. Intensive courses divided as follows: “Viaje Alrededor del Mundo #1” June 3rd to 28th. “Viaje Alrededor del Mundo #2” July 1st to 26th. (No class July 4th) STAFF: Our teachers are native Spanish speakers, hold degrees in the educational field, have wide experience working with children, are trained in our methodology and have been background check (Level II). SNACK: Children must bring their own, (peanut free) snack. All Kids Spanish does not provide a snack. LOCATION: Held at our Spanish Language Hub: 2902 N Orange Ave. Suite 206 Orlando FL 32804 PRICE: Each course AM OR PM is $450 per month per child. (4 weeks) Pay weekly $125 (When paying weekly you will be placed in an automated system). The price includes all supplies, materials for all activities. It also includes a “passport” per child. (Passport size booklet where they will keep track of the countries they have “virtually” visited during the course). ENROLLMENT: To enroll, please fill out required forms and make your payment. WE HAVE LIMITED SPACES. In order to save your spot, enrollment forms must be filled out and signed AND payment must be made. Please take note that we cannot hold spaces for registrations whose payments have not been made.
