Fundamentals of Computer (5 Days)

Students will gain the knowledge and skills required to identify parts of the computer, including microprocessor, motherboard, flash drive, hard disk, memory, keyboard, mouse and input/output devices. Students will also build a computer from scratch! They will learn how to put different parts together, how they work and how to use free software to work with images, sound and text. This is an introductory course for students interested in building a computer, understanding how computers work or wanting to learn to develop games. This course is also a prerequisite to most of the course.
