FCASD STEAM Summer Camp 2019

The Fox Chapel Area School District is thrilled to announce the return of FCASD STEAM Summer Camps! As we infuse Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics into our students’ academic lives during the school year, it is clear that the level of engagement is worthy of some summer time fun! The base cost of camps is $225 per camper for the entire week (June 17- June 21).  Camps that require additional admission fees to field trip destinations are priced to reflect the admission fees. Please register early as our camps are limited to 12-16 students per session.  In addition to camp registration, the Eventbrite page offers a donation option. Donations are fully tax deductible and will help make students who receive free and reduced lunch take part in the FCASD STEAM Summer Camp at a reduced or totally waived fee! Donations may be made from $25 and up.  The first $1000 of donations will be matched. Thank you! Tickets go on sale Tuesday, March 19th at 10am! 2019 Camp Offerings:  STEAM World Cup & Edible Experiments (gr. 1-3) Garden Discoveries & Life's a Beach (gr. 1-3) Birds of a Feather (gr. 2-4) Story Telling Through Video Gaming (gr. 3-6) This IS Rocket Science! (gr. 4-7) Escaping STEAM (gr. 4-9) Community Engineers (gr. 5-9) Lights, Camera, Action! & Photoshop Crash Course (gr. 6-9) *minimum registration of participants required per camp to be held  Click the "DETAILS" or green "TICKETS" button on the right to see camp session details! Find more logistics below: Students will arrive between 8:30 and 8:45am at Hartwood Elementary. Students will pack lunches.  Lunch/Recess:11:30-12:30 daily (except Friday) Pick up will occur promptly at 3pm Mon-Thurs and 12pm on Friday. During the morning of Friday, June 21 family members are encouraged to join us from 10:30-12 for camp open house where students will demonstrate and display their camp projects. Due to limited capacity, refunds will NOT be issued.
