Italian Summer Camp - Session 1 (June 3-7, 2019)

Now Enrolling Children Ages 4-10! Children will be immersed into the richness and beauty of the Italy… its language, culture, traditions and culinary arts. They will experience daily scoperte (discoveries), engaging in many linguistic and cultural activities from the magnificent and diverse country of Italy. Each of the two summer sessions will offer different scoperte and will include a special edition of the ICCC’s La Piccola Cucina. This isn’t just a summer camp! Expand your child’s knowledge of Italian language, culture, traditions and culinary arts. Give your child the passport to experience and discover Italy without leaving Houston! Session I: June 3-7, 2019 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Session II: June 10-14, 2019 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Morning Lab: 10 am to 12 pm | Afternoon Lab: 2 pm to 4 pm Please notice that registration and payment apply for each individual session; you can enroll your child in either session, or both. A journey into the world of art, playing with colors and discovering crazy painters and artworks... Week 2: Once upon the time... Magical creatures and wonderful heroes. Are you ready to get lost in a fairy-tale world? Afternoon labs: Week 1: What's cooking? + La Piccola cucina Can you make art out of food? Sure you can, using your imagination and creativity... This lab includes a special edition of the ICCC's La Piccola Cucina Week 2: Let's jam! How many musical instruments do you know? How many do you think you can build? A journey through music and its emotions. Policies Payment: Payment is due at the time of registration. Check Policy: Checks returned for insufficient funds will require reimbursement of any bank charge to the ICCC plus a $35 administrative charge. Cash or cashier’s check will be required as payment for tuition if the student wishes to re-register.
