How to Start Your Own Business - Ages 6-9-minimum student requirement  ~Presented by the Nationally Recognized Company in Financial Literacy, Growing Wealth From the Start*The class series will be on Sundays (10am-12pm) for 8 weeks plus a 9th week presenting and selling their product at the Edmonds Summer Market (Saturday, June 22nd- student may sign up for specific times). Cost for this event covers all weeks.  Students will learn how to start their own business from start to finish. The class will end with them selling their product at the Edmonds Summer Market on Saturday, June 22nd.  Students will learn: How to Pick the Right Business for Them How to Use Their Strenghts to Create a Successful Business How to Create a Business Plan How to Budget and Earn Money How to Market and Advertise  How to Sell their Products How to Plan Ahead  How to Create Business Relationships and the Importance of Teamwork They will also Test/Launch Their Products and Ideas Infront of Local Business Owners Your child will have have a great time learning and discovering how to start their own business as well as money skills. This is an extraordinary class that is focused on hands on and experienced learning techniques.  This is a class series on SUNDAYs from 10am-12pm for 8 weeks. April 21, April 28, May 5, May 12, May 19, May 26, June 2, June 9, NO CLASS JUNE 16th (Father's Day Weekend). *Parents and Families are invited into our last class before the Summer Market on June 9th from 2:30pm-3pm.  SATURDAY- JUNE 22 is our day at the Edmonds Summer MarketBooth hours are 9am-3pm. Students may sign up for times or stay longer. Times are available before, during and after the market. Students will sell their product at the Edmonds Market from a booth they have created and decorated.  We will be emailing you prior to the camp with permission slips and additional information. Students should bring with them an electronic device (iphone,ipad,labtop,etc).  Students will create, plan and sell their group products as a team. Students will leave the class knowing how to start their own business and will have learned numerous skills that will enhance their future endeavors.  Nationally Recognized Financial Educators teach hands on, innovative and creative methods in financial education. They teach the importance of intention, philanthropy, creativity, teamwork and community. It is about building a deeper understanding of financial principles, implementing healthy financial habits and having FUN!
