GRKIDS Summer Camps Fair at the Kroc Center

Discover Summer Camp Options at the 2019 Summer Camps Fair Get a jump on summer as the Grand Rapids Kids team hosts the second annual Summer Camps Fair on Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 1-4 PM in conjunction with The Salvation Army Kroc Center. Free Afternoon of Fun Includes Kroc Center Pass Parents and kids alike will be treated to a free afternoon of fun. Peruse the many different West Michigan camp options available this summer, with many camps offering hands-on activities and experiences at their stations. The Summer Camps Fair is open-house style, with families receiving a complimentary Kroc Center day pass for each person in attendance after completing their Camp Checklist. Families will need to return on a different day to redeem their Kroc Center passes. When they do, they will be welcome to enjoy the aquatics center, climbing wall, gymnasium, and more. Interact with Camps, Meet a Princess or a Mascot… Many of the camps are bringing interactive elements. Last year, John Ball Zoo brought animals, we had a pony, there was a slime station, and more. This year, we’re planning on a meet and greet station with a couple of princesses and mascots (we’ll reveal their identity as soon as we know!) Giveaways, including a free week of camp at the Kroc Center, will also be part of the event. Plus, visitors that complete the camp fair checklist will be entered to win a year of GoGo Squeez! Families planning a visit can get free tickets to the Summer Camps Fair online. Tickets include a voucher for admission to the Kroc Center on select upcoming dates for anyone completing a visit to the Summer Camps Fair. The event is open-house style, meaning that you can show up at any time during the 1 - 4 pm event. To help us with planning, we are asking that patrons select a time-based ticket closest to your anticipated arrival time.
