Christmas Holiday Hoops Camp 6th-8th Grades - Roanoke, TX

Monday, Dec 18 & Tuesday, Dec 19 (2 day camps) "How to Read-React & Score against a Defender" 6th-8th grade, GIRLS court 1 6th-8th grade, BOYS court 2 During this camp, emphasis will be on improving ball handling skills and using effective dribbles & moves to score against a defender. ​ Players will learn how to read the body language of their defender. Then, get low and drop their shoulder when attacking the basket. Players will also learn to recognize when to drive versus when to shoot. ​ Defenders will be taught how to move their feet and how to stay between their man and the basket without reaching for the basketball. ​ Tips will be given, on how to recognize a player’s strengths and weaknesses.
