Simply Destinee Street Art Suicide Awareness Campaign - Aurora, IL

In conjunction with our street art project to shine a light on suicide awareness, we will be hosting a series of events throughout the month of September. Please join us as we shed a light on this dark topic. Tomorrow August 4th two of our students will be joining at the first Friday art display as they kick off by painting a piece in awareness of our project. Then on September 1st we will be performing at two events. First at The Roots festival and also we will be performing at the Aurora Public Library. September 2nd will be performing at Fox Valley Mall time TBA On September 9th please come join us as we do a suicide walk and visit every single light bulb piece in the downtown Aurora area. We invite you to join us with all your friends and family. September 10th we will be hosting a candlelight vigil in memory of all those lost to suicide as it is International World suicide Awareness Day. September 16 will be at the Fox Valley Mall time TBA September 20th please join us at the Aurora Public Library as we will be working in collaboration with the Kane County Sheriff on a seminar regarding suicide awareness. Also for the month of September we will be selling a t-shirt in support of our street art project so that you can show your support. Web link to be published shortly!
