ZM Thich Dieu Thien lives in the AWAKE world everyday and compassionately guides everyone of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures, step by step how to live with the Awakened happiness within. Presently the world we live in is surrounded by modern technology and constant busyness making it very easy to feel stress, have fear, anxiety, depression, or feel lost in life, forgetting who we truly are. The sooner we discover the world of AWAKE, the better our lives will be, especially for our young future generation. We challenge youth and teens to 5 fantastic days of getting to know what it truly means to be happy and how AWAKE Meditation can help them both right now and in the future. This is a chance for them to discover the meaning of life by getting unplugged from technology and going back to nature and the simplicity of life. Our natural landscape will provide a great foundation for them to get in touch with nature. Kids will get a chance to practice a variety of AWAKE meditation styles such as sitting, walking, eating, or even playing meditation, which not only benefits but positively transforms their home, school, and everyday life. They will get a chance to see that AWAKE meditation is more interesting than what they imagined and that it’s not about silently sitting on a cushion all day! All activities are designed with deep meaningful lessons to let them discover who they truly are. Having the goal of Waking Up to fully live in the world of AWAKE will bring them Awakened happiness anywhere they are. Other activities may include outdoor games, scavenger hunts, team building games, arts/crafts, group sharing, singing, life discussions, even snack and tea meditation! Instructors include ordained nuns and senior students who have had many years of practice and are personally trained by the Zen Master to help all kids realize the AWAKE within.
