2017 Fern Valley Farm Kid's Summer Day Camp Fern Valley Farm 2017 Kid’s Day Camp – Camp sessions are Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 2 pm Ages 6-12. Farmer Larry and Mrs. Lynn are excited and ready to go. This year our Farm Camp is specially designed for ages 6-12, full of exciting farm adventures, recycled and upcycled daily crafts, and mind building farm lessons from learning about farm animals to treasure hunts in the garden. Designed specifically to teach children about discovering exciting new animal facts to learning about growing their own food, Fern Valley Farm Kid’s Camp is a memory making experience for everyone. Daily Schedule - 9:00 Meet and Greet the farm animals - Get a chance to meet all our wonderful farm animals - mini horse and donkey, alpaca, pet pig, bunnies, mama sheep and baby lambs, cows, calves, goats, and chickens. Hand feed all the animals and name some of our new babies. 10:00 Morning Healthy Snack Mrs. Lynn & Farmer Larry provide a healthy, farm friendly morning snack 11:00 Garden Treasure Hunt Let's hit the garden and dig up some treasures - tomatoes and cucumbers, anyone? 11:30 In the Kitchen with Mrs. Lynn & Farmer Larry Everyone loves cooking homemade lunch in the FVF kitchen. Each child gets to help create wonderful made from scratch lunches. Yum! 12:00 Homemade lunch made by campers Lunchtime - one of our camper's favorite times! Everyone helps set the tables and get ready for lunch. 12:30 Afternoon craft Every afternoon is a new farm craft to create and take home. 1:00 Water Fun on the Farm Get on those bathing suits and let's go.... it's farm water time.
