PICL Teen Trail Corps Camp - undefined, PA

Get ready to make Pennsylvania Mountain Biking better than ever! Starting in the 2017 PICL season, riders and teams will be awarded points in the PA League series and prizes for engaging in trail stewardship, development, and advocacy via the Teen Trail Corps program. Coaches will learn more about this on our coach calls this summer. There are four tenets to the TTC: Speak, Build, Respect, Ride. By completing a variety of tasks focused on each of these tenets, PA students can earn the rank of TTC Captain. Attendence at our TTC camp will bring students in 6th-12th grades most of the way to becoming a Teen Trail Corps Captain. Our basecamp for the weekend will be the Oesterling Farm, site of the 2016 PICL Inaugural race. Positioned a short drive from the state capitol, the weekend will consist of trail projects on the farm and visits to state agencies responsible for statewide trail systems.
