The Marvin McNutt Cedar Rapids Titans youth football camps help players develop the fundamental skills required to excel in the sport. Young football players throughout Eastern Iowa who register for our camps receive personalized, professional coaching, improving their overall game skills in an energetic, welcoming environment. We offer three camps for kids ages 4-14 which run Monday – Friday. We offer the Mighty Mites for ages 4-6, then either a half day or full day camp option for kids aged 7-14. Hawkeye all time leading wide receiver & former NFL player Marvin McNutt serves as camp director and oversees the camps. The Hawkeye legend and Titans Head Coach along with Titans players including former Hawkeye WR Damond Powell with work directly with campers with the goal of providing an atmosphere in which campers will have fun and strengthen their football skills at the same time. MIGHTY MITES ($175) ($10.93 an hour) Professional Teachers Instructing Youth at Camp. This camp is designed for our young players, between the ages of 4, 5 and 6. The mighty mites camp will teach our youngest players the basic coordination and passing, receiving and rushing techniques in a fun, kid-friendly environment. Each mini-camper gets one-on-one attention from one of our professional coaches. Monday – Thursday: 9am to 12pm Friday: 9am to 1pm HALF DAY CAMP ($175) ($10.93 an hour) This camp focuses more on the fundamental techniques which occur during football games. This camp is ideal for both recreational and slightly more competitive players. This is a fun, educational camp, coached by real Titans players in a high-energy environment. Monday – Thursday: 9am to 12pm Friday: 9am to 1pm FULL DAY CAMP ($225) ($8.03 an hour) Our full day football camp is an extension of the half-day program. Kids ages 7-14 will get more in depth training on passing, receiving, blocking, and rushing techniques of football, and get real experience, emphasizing their newly learned skills during scrimmage games which are played against their fellow campers every afternoon. Monday – Thursday: 9am to 3pm Friday: 9am to 1pm Your child will be coached by the Cedar Rapids Titans professionals, gaining valuable skills which can be applied both on and off the field. Respect and good sportsmanship are highly emphasized, creating a friendly, team-oriented environment.
