Camp BeatKNOCKS - Teen Music Producer/Songwriter Summer Academy - Atlanta, GA

The Purpose of the Beat Academy is to give students an overview of music production, music engineering and songwriting basics. In music production, students will learn how to create a song from start to finish. In music engineering, students will learn how to take an existing song and edit, mix, record, and sample. At the end of this 1-2 week program, students will have a better concept of song structure and the elements of being a music producer, as well as have a finished project which will be displayed on the Camp BeatKnocks website, uploaded and available for sale on multiple media channels and performed at the annual showcase. All classes are taught by Grammy Associated professionals. The Academy is for all levels and will be on June 5-9, 2017 at Galloway School in North Atlanta and July 10-14, 2017 at SAE Institute Atlanta downtown.
