The worries parents can have for their kids are both serious and startling - If you want to make sure your child doesn't spend all summer in front of the TV then try the Southpaw Sports & Martial Arts Summer Camp. Your child will stay active, have fun, learn valuable life skills, and get quality martial arts training at our summer camp. At Southpaw Boxing & Martial Arts summer camp kids learn how to address the realities of today's world. We have a fun cur riculum that is packed with boxing, martial arts , boot camp, street hockey and life training. Kids will learn the basics of money management, how to identify healthy foods, the perils of sugar and much more. Day camp is a great way to spend the summer having fun while learning leadership, martial arts, boxing and life skills. Program highlights include but are not limited to; Two daily martial arts classes drawn from: USA Boxing, Thai Boxing. Kali (Eskrima) kids and Catch Wrestling. As well as life skills like leadership, basics of money management, Healthy eating, confidence building, combating obesity, forming valuable friendships and unplugging from technology. We also incorporate game time, old school style- Chess, Checkers, team building games, arts & crafts, summer reading and so much more. The activities take place Monday throught Friday from 9:00am to 4:30pm. But you can drop off as early as 8 am and pick up a s late as 6 pm for no additional charge. Late pick up (after 6pm) additional $10 per day. Ages: 7 - 9 and 10 - 12 Limited to 30 children Questions???? Is lunch included in the camp? No lunch is not included. Campers should pack a lunch and two snacks daily, and bring a water bottle so they can stay hydrated. What is the minimum number of weeks I can do? The minimum is 3 weeks, but they don't have to be consecutive weeks- You can always mix and match.
